801 Ninth Street, N.W. is the site of the United States Mints' headquarters building. This 8-story building consists of 232,000 rentable square feet of office and museum space. The building features three story Jefferson Library Rotunda with a center fountain feature. Secure facilities such as a police command center and two large concrete encased vault rooms are included in the building.

Located less than two blocks from the Verizon Center and one block from Gallery Place Metro, this headquarters building was completed in October, 1999.
