The Qwest Building

This 306,000 square foot, 14-story office development is the headquarters for Qwest Communications (originally LCI Communications). Located in the heart of Ballston, this Class "A" office building features window views on all four sides, a landscaped one-acre park located directly behind the building, and three acres of underground parking. After weighing the options of buy vs. lease or build-to-suit, LCI decided to hire DRI as a fee developer to develop its headquarters in Ballston, VA. DRI was engaged to provide total turn-key service with significant commitment to maintain budget and delivery. During the course of construction, a network operations center was designed and successfully added to the project all while maintaining the original project schedule.
